My parents got married in 1981 but my father died four years ago before he could apply for citizenship. Two years ago I was recognized as Italian through JS from my father's side. Is there any chance my mother could apply for citizenship since they got married before 1983? My dad never got the chance to become a citizen but I've heard that he immediately became one when I was recognized.
