Possible 1948 case?

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Possible 1948 case?

Post by let_it_whip »

Hey everyone,

If anyone can make any sense of the following would be appreciated:

GGF - Married to GGM. Came to USA to work and became a US citizen before GM was born.

GGM - Was still living in Italy when GM was born. Did not come to US until 9 years after GM was born. (I believe GGM was 42 years old)

GM - As stated above - was born in Italy (1938). Did not come to USA until she was 9 with GGM (1947). (so, she was born in Italy to italian GGM, and GGF US citizen). I found the ship passenger list online and states my GM was a US citizen, so I’m assuming she was born a US citizen in Italy.
