I think I may be able to help in some way. My husband is Francis Gaschoni's great great great grandson. We live in England and are also trying to find out any information we can about Francis and his descendants. I do believe thst they were Jewish and the majority of the family are buried in Birmingham at Witton cemetry.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
