Hey Dan :D !
Good eye.

From the marriage announcement, Dolores Morello married Robert Earl Clarke,
his parents C Howard Clarke Sr & Mrs David Moore

It’s certainly possible that they’re related

Also interesting is Antonio Morello, listed in the census as Tony Morell, is listed as still residing at Henry street in the 1927 directory, I still would bet this is Michele Morello's brother.

Dan :D ,
I wouldn't be at all surprised.
Tony Morello's is another tough manifest & WWI Card to find.

The Morello's made the newspapers a lot in Binghamton in the early 20's & 30's.
It appears they weren't big supporters of prohibition.

Sorry for mis-spelling your name

I have looked at that site after you first posted it, nice site.

My G grandfather wasn't keen on prohibition either and there are a few newsclippings on his arrest in Apollo, Pa. for **SPAM** alcohol so the Morello family wasn't the only one.

Anyway hopefully Sarah will be surprised when she sees all the info she now has, as long as it's the correct family of course.

Take care

Dan, pretty sure it's correct :D .

There's a tree on ancestry with the same names.
It's a 'locked' tree so it can't be viewed.
According to what you can see, the town Faeto and surname Guarnieri is right.
It doesn't go back beyond Michele Morello & Maria Guarnieri & their info is pretty sketchy.

Surprisingly it lists Patrick Cecil Morello as being born in Alport (Allport, Clearfield?) PA.
Not sure how that would have been possible.
I'd like to see that record. His 1930 census stated born in PA...

By the way, you'll find my g-g-grandfather on the same newspaper site,
jailed for stealing in the mid 1800's.
(sometimes I repost links so folks don't have to page back to find them)

Don't worry about spelling my name wrong, I'm used to it  .
