Hi ...... I did see that marriage. It is a mistake because it has the same marriage date and bride's name as my G-G-Grandparents. It was not removed from the records just amended on the next page.
Thank you for looking.

Hello Cocopops,

Are you related to Rossi D'Agostino in Weymouth? His Grandmother was a Valente!

Hi everyone. My grandad (my mams dad) is Dominic Joseph valente but sadly I never got to meet him as he died before I was born. I know grandad was one of the first to come over on that boat that people talk about. I know my mam said from monte Cassino and had ice cream business. All seems very fascinating and we live in Sunderland.

Hi there
I'm also related to Valente's that came from Monte Cassino and they moved to Sunderland and he was an ice cream vendor.
His full name is Antonia Valente his wife is Conjetta Valente (Cairo) they are my 2nd grand parents, they had at least 8 children.
Is there no chance of getting records if Monte Cassino was bombed in WW2, I've searched them on the Ancestry site, and it comes to a stand still going back to their names only.
Thank you if you can help in anyway
Tina
