hello, i have just received my first films from the family history library in salt lake city. before i start to read through them can anyone give me any advise. how are they formated? these are for the mid 1850,s so what should i look out for, they are birth and marriage films. any advise or help at what to look out for or if anyone has a format of the records could they help. kind regards, john

There is a companion book for the microfilms, Discovering Your Italian Ancestors by Lynn Nelson which most people find very helpful. =Peter=

You could also download the transcriptions of different rites: births marriage and deaths on this link below. There are different formats of the same rite. They are useful because you will find that through the years and at different comunes the format will change.
