I'm looking for any information about Carlo Gioia from Magenta, Italy. He immigrated to St. Louis, MO USA in 1905. His wife's name was Teresa Colombinin from Marcallo, Italy.

In 1918, Charlie Gioia, a native of Marcallo, Italy, bought a wooden store on The Hill in St. Louis. Partially constructed of materials from the 1904 World’s Fair, at one point the building was the oldest grocery store on The Hill still in business. Challie sold his family’s salam de testa there, along with other Italian delicacies. When Steve and Johnnie Gioia, Challie’s sons, later began offering lunch at the grocery store, the homemade salam de testa, or hot salami, was a favorite choice.
