Buccino

Post by Felitti-Trimarco »

Hello everyone!

I was wondering if anyone could tell me about historical records from Buccino (Salerno). I'm interested in birth and death certificate from the late 1800's. Can anyone advise me as to where these records are? Are they easily accessible? The surname I am researching is "Trimarco", but I've also seen it spelled "Tremarco".

Thanks!

Hi,

The Family History Center does not have the records for Buccino (or most of Salerno province.) If you have names and dates of birth, you can write directly to the comune.

By the way, Trimarco is the most common name in Buccino.

The most common five family names in Buccino:

156.94 Trimarco
143.64 Salimbene
117.04 Fernicola
106.40 Volpe
95.76 Murano

Hello!

Thank you for the advice. Does Buccino have it's own comune? I had been looking for records from Castelluccio di galdo and they actually ended up at the Sicignano comune. Is this the same situation? Is Buccino part of another comune or does it have its own?

Thanks so much!

Buccino is a comune of its own. Here is its website.
