My wifes ancestors include Joseph Mencarini b. 1816 in Tuscany married(?) to Clique (?) b. 1818 Italy with a son Angello b.1841 in Italy. The above information is from the 1871 Census (RG 10 375 page 11) which shows them living at 35 Baldwin Gardens (above bars), Holborn, London and having three other children born in England. Family information is that they lived in Lucca, Tuscany before coming to England.
We will be grateful for any information regarding the relatives of Joseph, Clique and Angello (past or present) in Italy.
