D'Amico = San Massimo

Post by damico89 » 03 Oct 2009, 19:51

My family comes from the villa of San Massimo, Italy.
I know for sure that my great grandfather and great grandmother are from San Massimo their names are and birthdates are:

Gaetano Nicola D'Amico (Michele Nicola D'Amico) = Sept 16 1888
Cecelia Margiottello = Dec 15 1890

Gaetano's parents were:

Salvatore D'Amico
May 1st 1847 San Massimo, Campobasso, Molise, Italy
Jul 26 1925

Gioia Maria Maddalena
Feb 10 1848 San Massimo
Dec 23 1909 San Massimo

If you know anyone who has information on these people or can even go back farther I would greatly appreciate it.

Go to http://www.angelfire.com/ok3/pearlsofwi ... tters.html for form letters in Italian language.

Go to www.tuttitalia.it/liguria/14-piana-crixia and scroll down to the MUNICIPIO address where you send the form letter(s) to the Ufficio di Stato Civile. There is no charge. Villa San Massimo is a "frazione" or suburb/neighborhood and forms part of CRIXIA. =Peter=

Andrew, if you are sure that the town of origin is San Massimo, province of Campobasso, the address to be used is:

Ufficio di Stato Civile
Comune di San Massimo
Via Roma
86027 San Massimo CB
Italy

Hello Andrew
Gaetano Nicola "Guy"D'Amico was the older brother of my grandmother, Annamaria D'Amico. I would very much like to share the research we both have.
