Nappo/Nappi Immigration

Post by jackiecap » 07 Dec 2009, 15:34

My great grandfather Aniello Nappi emmigrated to the US in or around 1890. He was born in Naples in 1866. His wife Maria, maiden name Yesu and their children Garomine/Charles, and Lucia/Lucy came 2 years later. I think the name was changed from Nappo to Nappi. I can't find info about their immigration. I checked Castle Garden and Ellis Island with no success. I am interested in the name of the town they came from. I found them in the US census from 1900 to 1930. Is there another place to check. I am a subscriber to Ancestry.com, but have not had any luck. Thank You in advance for any suggestions
