I search about Pasquale Palmeri or Palmieri (born in 1862) death in NY on 1944, at 82 years old.
I know that he lived in 1930 in New York with his wife Elmelinda (or Ermelinda?), but is hard to find his children, I don't know!
Thanks for your help!!

Re: Palmeri or Palmieri
Thanks!!!
But Pasquale Palmeri was the Antonino Giannetto's uncle, and is strange that he was born in caserta (campania region), because Giannetto family was all in Burgio (Agrigento, Sicily).
Probabily he emigrated in other region before to go in USA

Re: Palmeri or Palmieri
well
Antonino Giannetto, when emigrated in 1912, go at his uncle Pasquale Palmeri in NY.
I think that can be this, but I'm not sure.
There is other Palmeri?

Re: Palmeri or Palmieri
Hello,
My family name is Palmeri and I live in the United States. Let me start with, there are a lot of things I do not know, but that is why I've begun to look into it. I don't know my family's history or, other than the general knowledge that we originally immigrated from Italy, where we came from, but I would like to. That is why and how I came to see this in the first place (: However the information was originally found, I would like to try to start piecing my family tree together. I know you had mentioned a Pasquale Palmeri in your last post from a few years ago, so I figured that either I am descended from him, or there are (or more importantly WERE) other Palmeri families. My question is rather broad, of course, because I am not looking for extraordinarily specific information but instead am interested in anything that can contribute to my knowledge, but it seems that the answer to your question would be a good place to start. Either way, maybe one of our questions could be answered. Being that this post was from nearly 3 years ago already, I do not know if you will be keeping up with this or even interested anymore, but if you are, anything you could share with me with would be immensely appreciated. Thank you so much.
