I am looking to possibly hire someone to look for an ancestor of mine. It is complicated and was wondering what were the first steps in doing this?

Looking in the US, in Italy, or in some other country?

If in Italy, do you have any idea as to what general part of the country?

He was born in Fondi, Latina, Italy. I have a birth act of his. He was a foundling I believe. Is it possible to find his real parents. I know who raised him but want to find the real set of parents. It was said he was the son of a baron but that is just hear say. Here is the record:
