Naming Records as Sources

Post by MiriamA »

Please give me some guidance on how I should name the sources for Italian records. I just arrived from Italy with many images of parish records, but I am not sure about the standardized way to name these records, I also have some previous records that I would like to standardize. Here are some ways that I thought to do it based on some of the reference books I found. Please advise. I added a few examples to clarify my thoughts.

Obtain, borrow, buy ITALIAN GENEALOGICAL RECORDS by Trafford R. Cole and check the index for the listing of each record and the manner in which to obtain the certificate needed. =Peter=
