Conti,Cunti

Post by ph »

Does anyone have any info on the surname Conti or Cunti. Iwould like to know the area of Italy this name originated. Has this name been shortened, or changed in spelling?

From the following you can see that CONTI is heavily concentrated all over Italy, however, CUNTI is more concentrated in one area:

Where in Italy does your family come from ph? I live in nearby Sharpsville and am always asked if I am related to The Conti's in New Castle

I'm from Ellwood City. Anyway I helped a few people out, and came across the name "CUNTI" several times in the Caserta region. Who are you searching for?
