ALBERICI

Post by polly »

I am searching for my ancestors who came to Clerkenwell, from I think, Boretto in North Italy. My G. grandfather was Benedetto Alberici, b. abt 1845 he had a brother Seraphino and maybe another one called Pietro, his cousin was Gregorio Alberici who I have found quite a bit about, as he emigrated to the U.S in 1896. I am trying to find out his parents names and trace them back to an exact place in Italy. I think his father may have been called Pietro.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks Pauline

Hi Michael31,

Thanks for your reply, yes I do think he came from Borretto, but I don't think it is Benedetto Alberikky, as he appears on the 1871, 1881 and 1891 census in the U.K. I know his cousin Gregorio Alberici went to the states in 1896, I have found quite a bit out about him but nothing on my great great grandfather. Also on my great grandmothers marriage certificate in 1896 he is down as deceased.

Hello Polly!

You said you think your ancestors lived in Boretto? Boretto is really near Viadana. Viadana is the place where my great grandfather (Carlo Alberici) was born and his father (Pietro Alberici) lived there until they came to Brazil. I'm trying to find if Benedetto was brothers of Pietro Alberici.
Do you know something? Thanks a lot =)
