Finding when someone died.

Post by nmaritch » 19 Jul 2010, 02:12

Hello,
I have been working on my family tree for about a year and a half now. I have gotten really far. However one brick wall I keep running into is finding out when people died. They will be listed in one census but not in the next. This would be before social security records, and I can't find obituaries in newspaper databases. Any tips?

I had previously suggested that you search cemetery and church records from the Family History Center. I don't know if you are looking for records from the city of Racine, but if so, some are available.
