Hi David,

Glad to help! :-)

Always fun to find something....

Still searching for immigration document, but you will find the answer if you send for the Naturalization documents. They don't take long to come, especially when you have the Petition #.

There is a Faustino Bajor which comes up on a soundex search on the steve morse website for Boston arrivals (all Boston passenger lists for 1820-1943). I see it on ancestry.com, but don't have a subscription. Want to check on that?
Thanks Peg

Faustino Porazzo

This is another possibility, maybe a better one.

Couldn't find it on Ancestry... :-(

Only found a Sisto Bajor from Spain.

Have any more details about ship, date, etc? Maybe able to find him that way...

Had already done a wildcard search with *orrazzo, and looked at all the names like Porrazzo and Morrazzo (and also with only one "r") Nothing checked out..

will look again for Porazzo...
I'm assuming we're still talking about Boston arrival?

Maestra, funny you should mention Porrazzo, my Grandfather's last name was Joseph E Porrazzo but his father's (Faustino) last name was Borrazzo. Faustino Borrazzo and all his brothers/sisters are also Borrazzo. No one had Porrazzo as a last name except my Great Aunt and my Grand Father.

I would love to find Faustino's marriage certificate to Elsia (or Elsie as I knew her), any hints where to look?

Regarding the last names, I never got a good explanation of this but that was long ago and many things could have happened.
