My name is Silvio Luiz da Rocha and i write to you directly from Brazil to ask for information about my uncle,SILVIO ZUIN,who has lived in Lake, Indiana, between the years of 1916 and 1937.
According to my family, my uncle passed away in the late 30's and should be buried in some cemetery of the city of Gary,Indiana, or it is also possible that he was buried in another nearby catholic cemetery of the area(Chicago)
I would like to ask you if it is possible that you search in your files from 1926-1939 if you have an entry by the name of Silvio Zuin.

I would appreciate if you could send me any information you may find available about the location of my uncle's grave.
The information will be of greatest importance to my family because we have been searching the whereabouts of my uncle for over 70 years.

It seems Silvio left the country and returned through Canada at International Falls, Minnesota in 1915. Here is his Border Crossing record...

Do you have a death record from Gary, Indiana? Are you certain he died in Indiana? If he traveled, could he have died elsewhere?

If you request a death record from Indiana it should have his place of burial on it.

Firstly, I want to thank you for your help.
I've been on every site researching my uncle (including ancestry and others) and found the same information you sent me.
I have been researching my uncle for eight year now, looking for information with my family and relatives.
Unfortunately did not get the information i want,to find out where my uncle is buried.
The latest information I have on it is this:

If my uncle died in Indiana, I do not know the answer, but my relatives say he died in INDIANAPOLIS, hit by a car. (BETWEEN 1926 AND 1937).Other relatives say he died in New York.
