Giovanni Bruni - Bruni Family

I am the Australian born grand son of Giovanni Bruni born October 31 in Martina in 1928 I believe, I do not know a great deal of our family heritage except his sister is alive and living in Genova and that after coming to Australia my grandfather did not return to Italy... Unfortunately due to my slightly disjointed family I have not been lucky enough to learn Italian so finding the Martina (or Martina Franca) births, deaths and marriages has been hard, I would like at least track down a copy of his birth certificate and move forward from here, if anyone can help me with that or has any reference to the Bruni family in Martina or Genova that would be amazing
