Maria Di Buono

I'm trying to find information about my great grandfather's mother. My great grandfather was Gaspare Di Buono (De Buono) born in Castrolibero on June 13, 1875. His mother was Maria Di Buono. He has an older brother Giuseppe Di Buono Aiello born Aug 21, 1872. Also younger brothers Pasquale Di Buono born July 14, 1881 and Gaetano Di Buono born Nov 26, 1883. We are wondering if Maria Di Buono, who we were told her father was Michele Di Buono, ever got married? We find paperwork that Giuseppe Di Bunon's father was Stefano Aiello??? Who was Stefano Aiello? Other paperwork shows the father as Steve Giordano???

If anyone knows anything about these people, good or bad, please let me know. We are very confused about the father of Maria's 4 boys.

This is the "enlistment" record for Gaspare. It is done when the child is born (so year is 1875)

Although the record (first entry) is in Italian, you will see mother's name as Maria, and father as NN (not named)

Thank you so much for your reply. Unfortunately we have been to this site and have seen Gaspare and his brother's birth certs. They do not answer our questions about Maria. While the birth certs say father unknown...there was a father. Some of the passports say Stefano Aiello as the father, others say Steve Giordano. We can not find anything relating to a Stefano Aiello/Giordano. Also nothing about Maria De Buono. When did she die? Did she marry? we find nothing and this is where we are stuck. Also was her last name Di Buono or De Buono?

We have been told their first born son Giuseppe De Buono Aiello, born abt 1872, was wealthy and had servants in Castrolibero?? Therefore someone must know this name
