looking for my sister

My half-sister was born Maria Rubelli to Anna Luciano on Feb 5,1948 in Naples Italy and was taken to the Brefotrofio orphanage . I need to find her -can someone please tell me how to go about this

Hi there,
"Brefotrofio" is a word for orphanage in Italian, it does not appear to be a specific one. Was it in Naples? Do you have the name? Have you determined if it still exists? Have you written/phoned them regarding old records?

Thank you for responding- It was in Naples and I do not have a name just found a letter stating that she was taken to the Bretfotrofio- I assumed that was the name of the orphanage I did not know- is there a central records office I could call
