Italian POW

Post by dutton100 » 30 Oct 2011, 23:08

My father in Law, Stephen, was born in 1946 to Hazel Joan Turner. She said that the father was an Italian pow. The name she gave was Stefano Fontana. My father in law would love to know more about his father. The pow camp was suppose to be in Fladbury, Pershore in Worcestershire, near Evesham. If anyone knows anything please let me know as soon as possible.
Many Thanks.

You can write to Italian Ministry of Defense in order to have the POW record of Stefano Fontana, for sure you need to give the right date and place of birth. Also I guess in UK there is a national archive or something were to write about italian POW kept in the labour camps or concentration camps there in UK
bye Riccardo
