Reverend Francesco Pesaturo

Post by Amansolillo » 28 Feb 2012, 01:17

My great-great-great-uncle was Francesco Pesaturo. He was the brother of my great-great-grandfather Michele Pesaturo. They were the sons of Ottaviano Pesaturo. Francesco immigrated to America in the 1880's while Michele immigrated to America in the 1910's. Michele took residence in Rhode Island and records show that Francesco married in New York and lived in Connecticut for a time and then lived in New Jersey. He apparently was the reverend of First Italian Presbyterian Church of Newark in 1935. His father Ottaviano apparently immigrated to Newark as well and died in 1891. I would appreciate anything about Ottaviano and Francesco in New Jersey. Thanks

Francesco's mother was Vittoria Conca, who died in Prata Sannita some time before 1879. When Francesco's father Ottaviano immigrated to America in 1882, he brought with him his second wife Maria and his daughter (I believe) Victoria, who could very well be the Victoria Dia mentioned in the above newspaper articles.
