Welcome to the Forum!
We would be happy to help you look.
What records (census, military, marriage) have you already found?
We wouldn't want to duplicate your research.
A quick search has a Chas Angelo Leber in OH in 1918, but he was born in Italy 1889 not 1899. This Chas Leber died in TX in 1972 ...
Thanks, Valarie

Hey Biff!
Thank you!, that's a great WWI card.
Interesting choice of surnames - Cinti had a big German community.
I think his place of birth is on his WWI card, but I can't make it out.
Pretty sure the family moved to Missouri by abt 1932.
Can't locate his WWII card.
It's a shame there's no next of kin on his death certificate..

Thinking to myself--Liberatore, Liberti, etc. But I could be completely off base.

Hi,
I believe that the birthplace could be Locana (Torino, Piedmont) and Leber could be Laboroi... just my opinion...

Don't know if this death certificate could be of any help. It's a 1939 Missouri death certificate for Charles Roy Leber, age 14 son of Charles A Leber and Mary Spatz... In this document Charles A Leber stated that he was born in Engleside - West Virginia:

Thanks Pink67,

you dont understand what you found. This was my grandmothers brother who died when he was 14 and we never knew who he was. we have no pictures of him or anything. this is a great find...thank you very much..marie spatz left my grandfather(charles) and my grandmather when my grandmother was 2yrs and was never heard from again and things are slowly starting to piece together...thanks to all who have taken time to find and post things for me....
