i need help finding more about my family

Would anyone be able to help me find more about my italian family. My surname is Monigatti but it was my great-grandmother who came from Italy. She lived in a small town outside Lucca in Toscany. Her name is Ersilia Teresa Giannecchini.. She was born in 1892. Her mother was called Clotilda, and her father called Carlo. I have got this far back. but can't get any further. Any help would be very much appreciated! thanks

In Italy all records are in the town of origin and inthe province of Lucca there are more than 200 giannecchini in numerous towns and villages in Lucca province.. In Italy all records are in these towns and villages so you need to know which town or village relates. Once you know that the dam will break and you can all the way back thru civil and church recods to the 16th century. Peter
