My 2GGM relocated to Marseilles France from Napoli in the late 1860's and lived there until her death in the late 1930's or very early 1940's. I would be very help if I could get her death certificate or immigration records. I am not familiar with the record keeping in France and was wondering if anyone has had any experience in the area.
Thanks
Artie

Re: Relocated to Marseilles and French records
Hi Artie,
Census for Marseille are available online for the period going from 1856 to 1906:
http://doris.archives13.fr/dorisurp/jsp ... n_main.jsp
For Marseille, Death, Marriage and Birth acts are available online for the period before 1904:
http://doris.archives13.fr/dorisuec/jsp ... n_main.jsp
In that page "Tables decennales" stands for an index for an 10-year period.
Perhaps can you give some details about your ancestor?
Bruno.
