Casalattico Cemetery - Fusco & Macari Mother and Father

Post by steff29 »

Hi everyone,

My great great grand parents were most likely buried in the Casalattico region in the 1920's. I was wondering where the cemetery would be located?

Unfortunately, I don't have their death certificates as I am awaiting their child's marriage act from Italy to confirm who they were. My two sets of great great grand parents were the mother and father of Luigi Macari - born 1888/1889 and the mother and father of Guiseppa Maria Fusco - born 1892. I believe Guiseppa's father and mother to be Giacino Fusco - born 1851 and Maria Celesta Matassa.

Kind regards,

Stephanie

Hi Stephanie

Not withstanding the info provided by Marty about grave transfers, the cemetery in Casalattico is just below the village and worth a visit even if your relatives have been 'moved on'. There is, of course, also the chance that their graves are still there, if there are family members still in the area.
