Foundling Birth Record?

Post by Josie07M11 » 10 Jun 2013, 05:54

I stumbled across this record that I believe is my ancestor, Giuseppe Stagno, but there are no parents listed and it appears that the baby was at a "hospital" or church of some sort. Unfortunately I'm not good enough with my Italian to determine for sure whether this was the case. Could someone roughly transcribe (the important bits anyway) on this record?

Thank you so much everyone.

The baby was abandoned in the "foundling wheel" on May 31 1862. The name Giuseppe Stagno was given by the Official.
