I was wondering if anyone could help me. My grandmother's last name is Spellechia however
there is no such name in Italy at all.
She was born near Naples.
Thank you Suanj and Erudita for your help.
My grandmothers name was Antionetta Spellechia born around 1894 .
Perhaps that was the correct spelling but I never find anything with the name Spellechia.

If you would like the volunteers on the forum to help you track down some info about your grandmother, you need to provide us with some additional info. Did she come to the U.S.? if so, where did she settle? do you know her parents' names, even first names? Did she marry? if so, do you know the name of her spouse? names of her children, etc? Have you located any records already for her, so that we don't duplicate your efforts?
