Vocations (jobs)

I am going to assume this is a job, it follows the grooms name and this is usually where occupations are
shown so I looked it up in a book and translator and got nothing does anyone know what this is?

As Marty pointed out in another post you should post the full record (if it is from FamilySearch the URL will suffice) so that we can better understand the handwriting.

In this case I believe it is "borgese" = Civilian
