DiCicco Family - Molise

Post by JohnDiCicco1966 »

First - thank you for allowing me to join here. I hope this is proper decourm and I'm not coming across as a novice pain in the neck.

I recently began my ancestry search over the summer of 2013. My Dad just turned 79 and is not in great health. I never knew much about my paternal heritage. The last 6 months I've been going full steam.

I've been able to trace back up the tree to my great great grandfather/grandmother:

Vincenzo DiCicco
b: 7 May 1795
Castellone a Volturn, Molise, Italy

Marriage to Lucia Di Silvestro
2 Jan 1825
Castellone a Volturno, Molise, Italy

My question is what kind of records should I expect to find? Marriage? Birth? Death?

Thanks again.

are the birth marriage and death records found on microfilm. Is it these records you have been searching? If not, then head to your nearest Family History Centre and rent the films.
There are tips on my website and translations.
