Sicilian Land/Property Census or RIVELI

Post by JamesBianco » 25 Jul 2005, 19:06

In case any of you are researching Sicily and would like to see what a late 16th century Riveli or Property Census looks like, I now have the entire 1593 (and 1653) Enumerations on my site for Carini, Provincia di Palermo.
They are an amazing resource, and give a detailed listing of children with age notation (in most cases).

1593 Carini Riveli

1653 Carini Riveli

Why couldn't your family be from Caccamo, Santa Cristina Gela, Piana Degli Albanesi, Pedara or Trecastangi? :P

I'm sure someone will definitely appreciate this.
