looking for orphan records in Genova, Italy

Louis Michael Cobia was born in or brought to an orphanage in Genoa in 1893.The orphanage was called Par La Per L'Infazia Abbandonato Ospital Provincia de Genova. He was adopted by Mary Patrone who also had a son named Giovani (John) and a daughter whose name is unknown.
Louis Cobia emigrated to the United States in 1908.
Any assistance would be appreciated

There's no mention of his adoption, so it's likely that he was raised in a family, but not legally adopted.
Was Patrone Maria's married or maiden name?
