Hello!
I'm looking for more information about my family in Italy. My great grandfather came to Brazil in 1892 with my great grandmother Giulia DeLorti (I don't even know if her surname is correct), as you can see at the document. But I don't have any information about the city he was born. I know that there are a lots of Montrasios in Italy, but if anyone can help me...

Using the Italian Surname Distribution Map link, you can see that the surname MONTRASIO is concentrated in the Region of Lombardia...

Using a Surnames by Region site... you can see that the top eight town locations in Lombardia Region for the most residents today with that surname are listed here. There seems to be a greater concentration in the Province of Monza e della Brianza. Maybe that will help?

Great possibility, as the surname Dell'Orto is also predominant in the Province of Monza e della Brianza

Would begin searching in comuni of Monza, Seregno and Milano for both of them.

It definitely helped to narrow the cities.

I found a new document, that tells me the name of my great grandparents parents!!! But no cities. lol
Giulia Dell'Orto it's dAll'Orto, is that a possible name too?
