death record from prison?

Post by dragonfire » 03 Oct 2016, 22:18

Is anyone willing to help me translate this death record (attached, original here: for Bartolomeo Valenti? I've seen enough of these now to get the gist that he died on September 8, 1887 his parents were Salvatore and Guiseppa Andaloro, and he was married to Gesualda Vullo, but I feel like I might be missing some details because the format is slightly different than normal. Does the second paragraph say something about him dying in prison??

I do have a some information about him based on family stories, but none of them ever mentioned prison!

Thanks in advance to any kind soul who is willing to help.

Yes, he died in the prison (bagno penale) on Procida, as informed by the warden. He was 51 years old and his father was already deceased but not his mother.
