I searched the Publication of Banns of Marriage for San Donato di Ninea from 1887-1892.
Even if Francesco was married in another comune, banns would have been announced in his hometown.
I found ONE marriage of a Francesco Iannitelli - but the bride was Angela Iannuzzi...

Point taken about the banns being often being posted in the groom's town - I'm not sure though that it is always the case though? Let's hope it is in this case though. Will leave that you, need to get on with other matters.

Personally, I believe that either the surname of Carmela is incorrect or that she was born in another town.

My Great Grandparents Pasquale Pellegrini and Giovanna Dibona were married in San Donato Val Di Comino ON January 13, 1908
