Re: Surname CORIO
Hi thanks for the replies.
The Joseph CORIO born c1880 is my Grandfather, he married Lucy JAMES in 1901, so that is the one in the 1901 census, but this is the only time I have found him I cannot find his birth in Hammersmith (I have searched from 1870 to 1887) and I cannot find him in the 1881 or 1891 census.
The other CORIO's in the Census do not seem to be related although they all lived very close together in Hammersmith and all came from Italy. I cannot tie them all together at all? The only hint that I have that Joseph was even born in England was the census details
Would you have any ideas on how I can try to trace when his father came to England on the few details that I have?

Re: Surname CORIO
I have some doubt about Joseph/Giuseppe Corio 1880 birthyear in 1901 census... normal.. as always in the census....
However are this records and I can say you that all italian Corio in Hammersmith was from Naples... :
