Looking for relatives from Lucca Italy

My husbands father Narciso Serantoni was born in Italy he did migrate to the USA from Naples at an early age. We are trying to seek out families in Lucca with that last name. My husbands mother Hazel Perotti, Serantoni was born in Michigan USA, however her father and mother were from Lucca as well. How can I find these family members who would be cousins to my husband??

The surname is CAPITE and the given name is Enrico. He immigrated to New York in 1909. On the passenger list, his father is given as Francesco from Mandanici. The given age and the year of immigration calculate his birth year to be 1881. In searching the Civil Reg. for the area on familysearch.org I could find no family name of CAPITE. Help me understand what I need to know in order to search for this man's birth and family information.
