I am searching for my great-grandfather's parents' names. So far, I've had no luck.
His name was Melio (Emil, Meli) Gilberti (Gilbert, Gilberte)
He was born in Rino, Brescia, Lombardia, Italy on November 30, 1888.
I would love to find information on his immigration to America as well as on parents and/or siblings. Information on his marriage date to Catherine Ropele (1901-1973)) would also be helpful. They lived in the Ohio Valley Region when in America (Wheeling, WV, in particular).
Thanks in advance! Anything is helpful!

Rino is a small village (frazione) that is part of the Comune of Sonico, Province of Brescia, Lombardy Region.
There are currently no online records that I can find, and I also did not find microfilm listings for this Comune.
You can write directly to the town of Sonico to request a birth record for "Melio" (probably Emilio)

Here's his death record, in case you don't have it

Catherine's death record-

For your info, the Catherine who died in 1973 was her mother and not her. She died in 1945, as per the death certificate. They are buried in Upland Cemetery
