Birth date: Sept 5, 1897<br/>
Born and immigrated from Augusta, Sicily in 1913<br/>
Parents: Domenico Romeo (had brother named Jack born in Tunisia)<br/>
Domenica Cijorisono (Cirincione but mispelled due to language barrier?)<br/>

*He told us his father passed away when he was around 5 years old. Prior to dads death, he used to play and climb all over the big ships his dad worked on (he was a merchant/sailor). Cannot find ANY records for his mother or father.<br/>
*Had at least one sister, Antonia (married Alfio Traina). Can only find information on her post-marriage, except for one shift manifest when she immigrated. <br/>
*Apparently, he belonged to a club called PRO AUGUSTA DI DETROIT. They would gather there and socialize. We cannot find a working number, website, information on this place either. I thought they might have some information on him. <br/>
*My grandfathers dad had a sibling named Jack Romeo that was born in Tunisia.<br/>

Again, I would like any information on him, his parents and siblings, his life in Sicily/abroad, parents marriage/birth/death records. <br/>

We know nothing about Domenico (Sr. for sake of confusion) Romeo except:
*He was a sailor and was back and forth to Africa often
*He died when my grandfather (Domenico Jr Born 1897) was very young, possibly
around 5 years of age.

WOW. That is an interesting record. I am wondering if this could be a different relative. I do not think this is my grandfathers (Domenico Romeo Jr born 1897) father, Domenico Romeo Sr...for the fact that Jr said is father died when he was very young, around 5 years of age. So, at age 36, this cannot be him.
