Castelvetere/Caulonia missing records

Post by lynnef »

Hi, In looking at the antenati website, I've noticed there are no 1835 or 1836 birth records for Castelvetere. Also, there are no marriage records from 1861 through 1865 for Castelvetere/Caulonia. I'm researching information on my maternal great great grandparents, but I've hit a dead end as a result. Would anyone know why these specific years are missing? Thanks. :-)

Missing at the State Archives doesn't mean missing at the Comune level.

Try the Family History Library available on your local computer (FHL) at your local FHL I think those birth records are on there

Ilario and Anna Rosa's son, Vincenzo (my MGGF) was born in 1864. I'm guessing Ilario's birth years as perhaps between 1834 and 1844 and Anna Rosa's birth years between 1836 and 1846. I'm thinking they married between 1860 and 1862 but, again, I'm guessing.

I found Ilario's and Annarosa's marriage record stating they married on January 14, 1854. My next search is to find their birth acts. :-)
