Maria (Gambino) Ligregni ----> Celestino Gambino & Guiseppina Chiolo di Palermo, Sicilia.
My Grandmother/Nonna:
Guiseppina Chiolo -----> mother's maiden name was Marina.

My Father/Papa:
Francesco Ligregni -----> Vincenzo Ligregni & Paola Militello di San Giovanni Gemini, Sicilia.
My Grandmother/Nonna:
Paola Militello -----> Francesco Paolo Militello & (Carmela Malta - Not 100%)
Carmela Malta:
Born - 6 October (1888?)
Death - 19 June 1964

Yes that is my Grandfather.
His brother Peter is deceased as well. I believe he died in Palermo a couple years after his brother/my grandfather(Celestino).

I am looking for his parents/grandparents/great etc.

Appearing before the official was Vincenzo Marta, age 43, manufacturer/industrioso residing in S. Giovanni Gemini, to declare that at 2:20 AM on the 6th day of the current month, at the house in Via Teatro (no number given), to Maria Giuseppa Traina, age 38, farmer, his wife residing with him, was born a female child who was presented to the official and to whom was given the name CARMELA
Witnesses to the declaration and the recording of the act were Salvatore Ali', 40, farmer; and Paolo Traina, 56, farmer, both residing in the town. Only the official signed the record as the others were illiterate.

Carmela is unmarried, age 34, daughter of Vincenzo Marta and Maria Giuseppa Traina.
They both signed the record

It should be noted that although Carmela's surname is Marta in all the records, she signed as Malta.
