How do you save an Ellis Island manifest

Post by rp76226 » 26 Nov 2019, 18:43

How do you save an Ellis Island manifest to your computer files? I can save the link and display it here (see below), but I can't figure out how to save the photo itself to my computer photo files.

PG 1 use your save option on your editor and use your attachment option you have to use another website ancestry or Family search
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
Researching Trabia, Palermo surnames Adelfio, Bondi, Butera, Scardino,Rinella, Scardamaglia

Editor? Attachment option? Usually, I right click on the document and then choose save as or copy. Copy was there, but it would not paste. "Save as" wasn't an option. If I understand you, the one you sent here came from either Ancestry.com or Family Search. I tried screen printing to Paint, but it doesn't fit the entire document. I know I've done it in the past, but don't remember how I did it.

I just remembered how to do it and tested it to be sure. Minimize the browser to its smaller size so you can see part of your desktop. Put your cursor on the image and drag it to your desktop. Then you can do whatever you want with the image.
