CASTELLO 1838 Genoa, help me find his ancestors
Hi! i have been trying to find my italian relatives for years and i am stuck... My great grandfather Girolomo/Girolamo Castello was born around 1838 in Genoa, Italy and moved to Gnarp,Sweden around 1870 maybe. He died there 1896 leaving his wife and 3 children. I am trying to gather more information about him, his parents and relatives from Italy. Could anyone please help me with this?

Unfortunately, Castello/Castelli is a very common surname all over Italy.
If he married in Sweden, you might look for his marriage record, or his children's baptism/birth; maybe you can find some more accurate info there.
