With the great help i've received here I'm hoping to maybe find some information on the other side of my family tree. A bit more obscure of a family history.

Hoping to find the birth certificate for the following:

Giuseppe Stagnitta
B: November 26, 1889 - San Cono, Catania, Sicilia

His wifes information:

Concetta M Spitale
B: Apr 22 1896 - San Cono, Catania, Sicilia

Married May 3, 1919 in San Cono.

Just some clarification, was Carlo Spitale her father or son? Also, when you say legal representative was her mother possibly underaged? or was her mother the 22 year old Rosaria.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Looks like the mystery father will never be found out it seems.

Are we able to find Rosaria Randazzo, B: 1872 and Cono Spitale B: 1866 ?

I can only see the father Cono, 34

The mother is Catena Spitale, daughter of Cataldo (Spitale). She was 26 yo, a Filatrice (Cotton Spinner/Seamstress), born and residing in San Cono, the legitimate wife of the declarant, i.e. Cono Cinquemani, 34 yo, contadino (peasant), son of Vincenzo. Salvatore was born on 5 September 1870.

There is no "Carlo" mentioned in the record.

I've translated the section that is a little confusing to help clarify:

(Birth No 31: Maria Concetta Spitale, daughter of Cono
Registered 24 April 1896 in the town of San Cono
(Baby was born on 22 April 1896))

.....Rosaria Randazzo, 22 yo, contadina, living in San Cano, appeared before the official and reported that at 4.15 am, on 22 April, in the house in Via Leone, no number, (a baby was born) from her legal union with Cono Spitale, a contadino, residing in San Cano.......

The words "from her legal union with" are basically telling you that Rosaria and Cono were a married couple.

Edit to Add: I believe the correct spelling of Rosaria's surname is Randazzo. I've just corrected it.
