Italian Parish Records

Post by rp76226 »

This is a relatively new group that has church records that might provide some help for genealogy research. Here is the email I received.

2020 has been a fabulous year for Italian Parish Records. Your donations of digitized parish records, indexed civil records, and indexed parish records has been amazing. Also thank you to all who have given monetary donations, we can't do this without financial resources. A quote I love, "Show me your budget and I will show you what you value." We are truly grateful for everyone who has supported our work of preservation and we look forward to another bountiful year!

We are excited to share with you our January 2021 Journal. See attached document. Please, freely pass along the journal with others who also share a love for Italy and preserving its history.

Saturday Jan 16th at 4 pm Pacific Time - IPR will be presenting Accessing Parish Records in Italy, hosted by The Italian American Heritage Foundation in San Jose, CA. Please register in advance.
To register clink on the following link: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/registe ... c5YooFZCXA

With sincere gratitude,

Thanks for the info. The address in the link above for the journals looks like it's a link to where you downloaded it onto your own computer, rather than the original link they provided. It looks like they use Google Drive to access journals. They're accessible from the following link. https://www.italianparishrecords.org/home/journals

Yes indeed, what a beautiful website! And you can also place your donations there!
Too bad they stole pretty much everything from my website, 12 years of my life, and that without even letting me know, let alone asking permission or adding a reference to the source . And now I also read on that website that they have impudence to impose conditions on the use of the data they have stolen from me.
The brutality of some people is truly limitless.
