Church Records

Post by scorpione »

I have traced my relatives(Caivano) in Formicola and Pontelatone(CE) to the mid 1700's but now I need to access the Catholic Church parish records and I don't remember much Latin. Is there anyboby who can tell me where I can find translations for the birth, death and marriage parish records. I imagine they did Not use forms as they did with the stato civile but I am also guessing that the entries are more or less the same each time. I am extremely grateful for all your help so far and look forward to any information you would care to share. Grazie mille.
