VJ,

Nice find..if you notice the address its on Bourbon..same street as Francesco's WW1 Draft Cards..

If we can find the census for one then maybe it will show both families.

I have seen The Manifest of alfonzo Lumetta, comes from SAN CIPIRELLO, an attacked country to Saint Giuseppe Jato, therefore it is OK.

If we can find the Lumetta's maybe we can fin the Lo Picccolo's since they lived close to each other... :D

They both lived on the same street so its possible that the name was spelled wrong on one relative...

Seems they both lived in Ward 7 so I am going through the census records page by page to help you find your family..which isn't easy since Bourbon Street was very long. :(

Mio nonno raccontava che la prima figlia di Francesco morì bambina, e si chiamava Maria Lo Piccolo, anche questa informazione ti potrebbe aiutare.

In Sicily it is custom to put to the sons the names of the grandfathers, before the names of the paternal grandfathers, and then the names of the maternal grandfathers. Therefore Alfonzo Lumetta has called the first son male VINCENZO, instead my great-grandmother Maria Lumetta has called the second son male VINCENZO, because the first one was FRANCESCO LO PICCOLO

I think we need an Italian poster to communicate........we need confirmation on the records found and to clear up confusion regarding the cognome of the moglie......
