Has anyone got the address / tel number/ fax for where the parish records are stored in San Mauro Forte as I need to write to them to request records prior to 1809
Help much appreciated

From what I understand The Church records for this area are not easily available, I am stuck in the same boat with San Mauro Forte on my Ginosa line.

This isn't as easy as it sounds as my mum who was born in San Mauro says there are 3 possibly four churches in the village. You could end up searching for records in the wrong church. I've been told that you first have to get the permission from il Sindaco (Sig Diluca)....
